Greetings Parents/Caregivers of Grade 9 students! We are pleased to be offering Grade 9 Day, taking place this year on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. We know that for both students and parents/caregivers, starting high school is an exciting venture. Grade 9 Day will help incoming ACVI students to become acquainted with school spaces and staff. Valuable information will be shared, as well as opportunities to have fun while getting to know new peers. In the morning, students will rotate through each of their first semester classes. Student Ambassadors will be helping to support grade 9s with planned activities in the afternoon.
As Tuesday, September 2nd, is the official first day of grade 9, student attendance will be taken. Parents and caregivers are welcome to accompany their grade 9 student(s) and to attend the morning portion of the day, if they wish. Parents are invited to a brief meet and greet with school leaders during lunch time. Parents and caregivers are welcome to leave after this session. Students are asked to bring a reusable water bottle and a Dudley combination lock for their locker. Please note: grade 9 photos will be taken in the afternoon during grade 9 day activities.
