Grade 9 Day - Important Information

Dear Grade 9 Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,

We are excited to welcome our incoming Grade 9 students and families to Anderson CVI!

Grade 9 Day takes place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. This orientation experience is designed to help our newest Raiders feel confident, connected, and ready for high school.

Event Schedule

  • 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Arrival and Welcome
  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Welcome Assembly
  • 10:10 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Semester 1 Class Rotations (Parents/Caregivers Welcome)
  • 12:50 p.m. – 1:10 p.m.: Student Pizza Lunch | Parent & Caregiver Information Session and Q&A (Library)
  • 1:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Team-Building and School Spirit Activities (Students Only)  FYI: Student photo will be taken for student ID and yearbook.
  • 3:20 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Grade 9 Group Photo & Dismissal -  

Important Details for Families

  • Parent & Caregiver Involvement: You are warmly invited to join your student for classroom rotations (10:10 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.) and attend the Parent & Caregiver Information Session and Q&A in the Library at 12:50 p.m. After the session, adults are welcome to depart while students continue with afternoon activities.
  • Cell Phone Expectations: Personal cell phones are not permitted during instructional time to ensure a focused and distraction-free learning environment. This policy will be reviewed with students on Grade 9 Day.
